The Aims Of The FBGA:

To highlight within the media the cruelty and brutal behaviour and abuse that has taken place in Quarriers Homes down the generations.
To highlight the number of convictions of ex-employees, of Quarriers Homes including the "Beast of the Belltower" (John Porteous) and others.
To expose publicly those individuals and organisations that have provided a haven and supported convicted paedophiles in construing a mis-carriage of justice in the media where none existed in Law directly or in indirectly.
To continue to expose the lies espoused by the convicted paedophiles, their families and supporters in continuing to call the victims liars.
To challenge if necessary and refute those who purport to have knowledge of the issues and make public statements but in fact speak from having no knowledge of the facts or evidence to support their arguments.
To provided a contact source and signposting for assistance for victims/survivors of abuse.
To highlight the commitments made by the officials of the Scottish Executive and those aims which have not been fulfilled or have been diluted by the Executive officials during the process.
Our goal and main aim is for a Public Judicial Inquiry into the past failings of former management of Quarriers Homes to protect children from abuse committed on them by employees at the time and which in some instances had been reported to them only for them to take no action against those who perpetrated it.
