Divelyrics by Jeremy Kidd, music by Hal Lewis
I'm flying southward in a silver airplane,
The sky is falling and there's nowhere to go, Dive!
The sky is falling and there's nowhere to go,
The radio does play, some sweet forgotten melody,
I'm flying southward in a silver airplane,
Won't you come follow me, won't you come follow me,
The radio does play, some sweet forgotten melody,
Dive quotes... We went to Doncaster and bought some gear. I got an echo unit. Well! Everyone else had stuff to play with! DIVE...Dive...dive... Jeremy Rough and raw, and the "Sweet Jane" steal. Reminded me of "Back in the USSR" with the plane noise. Matt |
Dive was recorded at Fairview Studios, Willerby. The recording was engineered by Roy Neave and produced by Roy Neave and the Red Guitars.
The track was first released as the b-side of Fact (SD007) in November 1983 by Self Drive Records. It was recorded "live" in the studio, that is in one take and with only a few overdubs, because we couldn't afford any more studio time. It was subsequently re-recorded for the Slow To Fade album. |
